Recently, Ram Air has looked much more deeply in Turbocor and Hartman Loop technologies. We feel like these technologies have come a long way over the years. They are proving themselves to be extremely efficient with problems being rare. We have started introducing these products to both existing and new customers.

As an oil free compressor, running on magnetic bearings with only one true moving part, not only is the environmental advantage apparent, but the maintenance one as well. These machines operate extremely quietly. The typical needs of older compressors for filters, oil inspections, and extensive repairs are virtually non existent. The ability of the Turbocor to interface with existing systems, to utilize remote monitoring, and features that are designed to safeguard against malfunctions, makes this the most cutting edge compressor on the market today.

Variable speed plants are the way of the future. The central plant adjusts to real time demand, and change the speed of the flows along with how much energy the chiller uses. The typical setup for Hartman Loop technologies is Turbocor compressors, variable speed Armstrong Pumps, variable speed cooling tower, and the Hartman Loop control sequence.
